Meet the penguin

Hemal is the penguin in Penguin Yoga. A journey that has been taken one breathe at a time.

You can’t touch your feet, can you? A simple question that is synonymous with any beginner to yoga. His journey didn’t start that way as he was left with no option but to take the journey on.

Having the corporate world take its toll on his health, he underwent an operation that kept him away from a desk for 8 months, He was guided into yoga and didn’t looked back.

Shortly after returning to work, he vacated the corporate world and journeyed off to Goa, India to take on a teacher training course at Sampoorna Yoga.

A journey that changed his life, not just through asana but through life as well. The Penguin completed his 200 hour YTTC in Ashtanga and Vinyasa Yoga in October 2017.

A firm believer in the philosophy that if we constantly cultivate our mind, body and soul that we will find our purpose that will help us achieve the flexibility we strive for in our lives.
